These characters are AI, not real children or teachers. They can be wrong. Keep your real name, school, address, passwords, phone number, and other personal details out of chat. Your parent can read your conversations.

If something feels upsetting or unsafe, stop and talk to a trusted adult. This app cannot provide emergency help.

For parents

We store your email, password hash, child account settings, conversation history, usage estimates, and brief safety notices on this site’s server. Only your family can access your child’s chats through the app. The hosting operator can access the server and backups.

When live AI is enabled, message text, the latest 16 channel messages, grade level, and fictional character names are sent to OpenAI for generation and safety checks. Parent emails, child usernames, and board names are not included in those requests. Do not use real identities as character names. Automated checks are imperfect and do not guarantee child safety.

For this under-13 audience, the operator must first arrange OpenAI Zero Data Retention. Disabling response storage alone is not equivalent to Zero Data Retention. Parent supervision and consent remain necessary.

Control and retention

Parents can pause chat, set a daily active-time limit, reset a child password, export chats, clear history, or delete a child and its associated data. Daily and weekly reports are available in the parent dashboard. The site’s daily maintenance task removes messages, safety notices, and usage records older than 30 days. Backups may retain deleted records until the operator rotates them.

No ads, external analytics, public profiles, uploads, human-to-human messaging, or browser chat storage. Essential session and security cookies are used. Contact the site owner for parent account recovery, deletion, or questions about backups.
